5% For The Backcountry

5% For The Backcountry is an initiative designed to protect and preserve the most remote places in the US. This program channels 5% of Nuataaq's revenue directly into conservation efforts aimed at preserving the untamed beauty and ecological integrity of America's backcountry regions.

Nuataaq's Role

Our mission is to protect and preserve the backcountry – the vast, unspoiled landscapes that offer sanctuary to wildlife and provide awe inspiring beauty for adventurers and nature lovers. By focusing on the most remote areas, we ensure that these wilderness spaces remain untouched and accessible for future generations.

Nuataaq is very proud to found 5% For The Backcountry. We want to ensure the same formative and foundational lands we learned so much from and have such a deep appreciation for will remain outside the grasp of bad actors.
